I was saying those items are better than fang of the mystics for healers. You're right- mindfang is easier to obtain than raid gear.

Speak for yourself, pvp in wow is a joke to begin with.


This is wotlk, there are no class boundaries any more, if people can equip it, assume they will pursue it. Healers will go for choker, casters can scoop up rej gem. Not saying any class should take an piece of gear, but I am saying anything is a possibility.

I'm saying from a pure throughput and Mana efficiency standpoint that fang is worse. Unless you highly value your crit procs like inspiration or ancestral healing (damage reduction to target on crit) then what I said is true. I did the math ;)

The natural progression of a player will be Black Crystal Dagger to Mindfang for the general caster/healer. You can easily equip an entire raid with the item.

I do agree with everything you've both said though.
