I'm thinking about going dual daggers backstab rogue kind of thing for raids and dungeons (not so sure about dungeons).
Would this spec be decent? http://www.truewow.org/armory/talentcal ... ,0,0,0,0,0
I left out overkill cause i dont think it brings me much.. and went for some increase in slice and dice duration(do i even need that?). Also focused on some backstab dmg and i hope energy wont be missing too much and that i wont have much issues with it..
Any advice from someone with a bit more experience? Also, I am trying to focus a bit more on crit.
Thanks!
Backstab Rogue (sort of)
Re: Backstab Rogue (sort of)
This actually works for the most part, and looks very similar to what I specced in after 60 for dungeons/raids.
Improved SnD seems sub-par on paper but it constantly means the difference between throwing up a 4-5 point rupture or having to hit SnD and build up combo points again first(SnD should ALWAYS be up)
What I used until 6 piece Shadowcraft Set bonus(which is an incredible bonus: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Shadowcraft_Armor):

Only a few small changes I made to yours:
Vigor is a PvP talent. Since you should never hit energy cap in most fights, this essentially equates to 10 free energy for a boss. I put this point in Ruthlessness instead to
help me get a better slice & dice (SnD) or Rupture in occasionally. The combo points add up the longer the fight goes.
Overkill is useful until 6 piece bonus; and in general can be used twice for a typical boss(once on open, once on vanish mid-fight). If I recall, Overkill equates to a total of 60ish energy(been awhile since I checked the math), but more importantly, helps you get a good SnD/Rupture up sooner.
The last point in combat can go toward haste, crit, or backstab damage. Your crit fully raid buffed should be fine; I'd rather spend it in either haste or BS damage.
After 6 piece bonus, I found I had more than enough energy to work with and moved some points out of seal fate/overkill to lightning reflexes:

Thanks for the reply! Very helpful.. I guess those few talent changes do mean something. Thanks again.
