Disc is good for PvE too. Absorbs are fantastic for many major boss fights such as LK. Shielding is the best defense against Infest and Defile.

Disc is better than holy imo :D There are always druids and resto shamans for aoe heals and the absorbs are a must.

Holys provide various buffs that are extremely useless for PVE.

Guardian spirit saves lives, also increases healing done on that target by 40%, Body and Soul is fricking imba as hell, increased heals on someone who's dying, Hymn of Hope, Divine Hymn.

Disaster talent? By that do you mean saving people from disasters? Or that it is a terrible talent?

Uh you wrote "useless"...

I think you mean Test of Faith (http://wotlk.openwow.com/?spell=47560) instead of Body & Soul (http://wotlk.openwow.com/?spell=64129). Which is not a buff FYI.

Well Guardian Spirit has helped me save time healing someone half dead many times. Just pop renew + guardian spirit on him and then I can ignore him... + Glyph that means I can do this every minute.

Is there another talent that the point can be more useful in...?

One does not simply ignore Guardian Spirit talent. You are no real holy priest if you do not have Guardian Spirit + glyph :3

Well I play Discipline and Shadow, but if I had Holy talent tree,I wouldn't take that talent because my allies will be on full hp all the time! :D

Well, it is true that Guardian Spirit is barely used. But as barely used as it is, when you can use it you can use it. For example, Guardian Spirit glyphed can make the encounter of the DW a lot faster, when a tank is about to die and no heals will arrive fast enough, it can save you. Arrogance is not useful, fear and prevention are.

Body and Soul, i don't have TPs on it because i think there are not a lot of end-game boss encounters in wich requires me to dispel posions. And if there are, there's always a shaman, a paladin, or a druid. The movement speed is nice, but as a Hpriest i won't spam PW: Shield all the time (I don't do it at all). To me, the utility of BaS can only be fulfilled in PvP.

So far i've outhealed every Resto Druid and most resto shamans that out-GS me (Damn you, Crendor!). Resto druids aren't that good in AoE heals, they only have one, and it's a HoT. Shamans are good at AoE heals just because they have a smart AoE heal that they can spam (and boy, they love to spam it!).

And Disc can't be better than Holy or viseversa, they aim for different objectives. Disc is damage absorption, Holy is raid healing.
