Im done arguing with you. Even a GM has agreed with me that it is Mitigation but seem to be incapable of admitting you made a small mistake and update your post. Hopefully people who read this thread will read the whole thing so they dont look like fools when they speak on other threads and in game chats. I wish you the best in your in and out of game endeavors.

And you seem to think a GM of this server knows everything about the game =/

And the GM in question was agreeing with me, not you.

Love how this goes from a decent tanking guide to a argument about block being avoidance or mitigation .. sigh

Did you even read it at all? o.o

I said to use other auras over devotion, you seem to think I said to use it, lol.

HoR procs SoC/SoV on all mobs, there aren't many situations where you'll be needing to AoE tank more than 4 mobs and can't keep them all with HoR/Consecration

The reason for Touched by the light and one handed being in that section are that they are not *needed*, yes I agree they are virtually needed but you're not going to lose aggro without them. Don't get me wrong, I constantly tell people they should get Touched By the Light when I see them without it.

I also said to take Pursuit of Justice and the +22 stamina enchant, yet you seem to think I said not to, lol.

If so, then:
Expertise Cap vs lvl 83 targets: 6.5% (Dodge) / 14% (Parry) = 26 / 56 Expertise = 213.13 / 459.1 Expertise Rating.
This? :P

Obviously, GM thinks that he write it good. Theres obviously no difference between parry and dodge.

And with this stated, Im not sure how someone who dont know difference between dodge and parry became GM.

Dont worry, I wont bother to read what bullshit u have to write. This forum is dead for me, now when I figure it out what kind of GMs this server have

Are you serious? It's like saying I need to know how to engineer rockets to be a manager in a business department... Such disrespect, without even thinking of what you post... lol. /pat Slar :?

In case you're gonna read this, maybe you should chill out KingOfPredators.

Let me start by pointing out flaws in your reply.
KingOfPredators wrote:Theres obviously no difference between parry and dodge.
Saying there's no difference.
KingOfPredators wrote:And with this stated, Im not sure how someone who dont know difference between dodge and parry became GM.
Implying there's a difference.

Now let me explain to you what I meant by:
Expertise Cap vs lvl 83 targets: 6.5% (Dodge) / 14% (Parry) = 26 / 56 Expertise = 213.13 / 459.1 Expertise Rating.
You need to get 26 Expertise to have 0 attacks dodged by a level 83 target (Boss)
You need to get 56 Expertise (which is somehow impossible to get) to have 0 attacks parried by a level 83 target (Boss)
Now tell me, how could you relate this to Parry-haste?! Seriously dude...
And anyway, if you mean we should work on avoiding Parry-haste Auto-attacks, then you must get 56 Expertise. Good luck getting that.

Stop bashing GMs when you're trying to make suggestion, they perform a voluntary service that benefits the server. Some people seem to forget that behind every PC is a human being who is capable of making mistakes or having misconceptions.

PS: @ Slar - Not implying that you've made a mistake, I just can't stand bashers.

Maybe I misunderstood this post, but looks like sarcasm. In other words, who cares if attacks can be dodged or parried. There is no any difference.

Except faster boss swing time...

You dont respect someone because he is GM. You respect someone because he does not make posts like this. It is a very reason why I never left BC. Staff needs to be neutral and mature, not something like this.

In the end, you should know that you make guide for others not yourself. I will erase previous posts, since there is no point to improve such a perfect guide.
In the end, Im not the one who will lose agro
Bye
