Just curious if this tactic is viable? Pally is one of the few classes I never played on retail, so I don't know much about them. I do like the support and buffs that pallys bring though, so want to try one out.

Im sure it would do fine. You will not *always* be able to get in rdfs so just focus on spell power plate as you level and you can kill multiple mobs at a time with consecrate. As you approach 60, switch your focus to int and mp5, though.
