whats pet to choose as BMW hinter?

Hello out there!
Simple question:
Are wolves still the best pets for BM Hunters in pve-content on truewow or are - maybe for some "private server reasons" - exotic beasts like devilsaur or spiritbeasts better options?

I often go for a cat, due to dps, wolfs are pretty good in say raid/dungeons due to their furious howl. However, once you are level 75 I think, you´ll go to Sholazar Basin and tame Loq, as it´s the first Spiritbeast you can tame, and you want atelast one spiritbeast.
