I'm not sure where to go with this.
Hello everyone. First time using the forums - never thought I'd need to - but I need to adress something in this topic.
On the 17th of July, around 6AM, my best friend Mihail was found dead in his own bed. His heart gave out suddenly, merely 16 days before his 20th birthday.
I know he was a player here and that he played under many different names. I think "Overeem" was the character he played the most, however. There was also "Animalx" and some others, but I really cannot remember them all. He was a member of the Divinity guild.
I just thought I would let you all know what happened, so you'd know why he hasn't been joining you in your most recent adventures in Azeroth. I am sorry to bear the grim news. I knew him for 13 years and was with him just the night before he passed.
I just hope his legacy will live on, and that you'll remember him for all the amazing adventures you guys had.

Re: I'm not sure where to go with this.
I'm still hoping this a bad joke, but every minute passing is just showing me the oposite...
I was about to make topic, but only after I was sure about his situation...seems you know what you are talking about.
I was constantly speaking with him on skype and ingame, until Saturday night (16th of July) we even played arenas that day, I've wrote him on Sunday and Monday but didn't get any answer for him so that was a bit strange...
Anyway, I hope he finds his rest in peace, altough I don't know if he will ever be able to do that since he had whole life ahead and many things yet to accomplish. He was always forcing himself in real life over the limits, and started to reach maturity faster than the other people at his age due to his personal life conditions.
It is really sad how a life can end and very cruel but this should be a lesson to all of us. In life, even if you go down a road of addiction, you should always asses the other paths you can take, not really to follow them but only to know you have something else to choose no matter what you are constantly routinely doing.
This guy right here will be my motivation for a lot of time from now on.
Rest in peace Mihail K. and see you on the other side in the further decades.

"I write about the power of trying, because I want to be okay with failing. I write about generosity because I battle selfishness. I write about joy because I know sorrow. I write about faith because I almost lost mine, and I know what it is to be broken and in need of redemption. I write about gratitude because I am thankful - for all of it."

I dont know what to say...
He was a nice guy, makes me sad because he was so young.
I had a lot of fun hanging out with him and I will never forget those times.
Rest in peace.

Re: I'm not sure where to go with this.
To be called back to his creator while still so young... Being 26 myself, I should count my blessings I suppose...
I never knew him or spoke to him.
The few friendly and humorous lines we exchanged were in arena (during those extremely critical moments where he'd manage a close save or I'd barely survive his partner) and that is all all I know of him.
He provided me with some of the best fights ever last season. Reck and I fondly remember how we were pushed to the limit.
A worthy opponent. Someone who earned my respect ten times over by not only playing skillfully but never trash talking behind my back or raging in front of me. And now, I'll always remember him with reverence.
He was a great player and I have no doubt he was a fine person as well.
My only regret is never taking a moment to whisper him to chit-chat and to try to get to know him a bit more.
May your friends and family find the strength to carry on.
To me, you'll always be here - in the hearts and minds of those who will keep your memory alive.
Rest in Peace, comrade.

Re: I'm not sure where to go with this.
Reading your messages brings tears to my eyes. I always joked around him saying he was the most toxic player in the community, but I'm so glad I was wrong - It looks like I won't be the only one missing him.
If anybody wants to talk, find me in-game. I am playing under a character named Viwian, trying to get her to level 80 like I promised him years ago.
