not necessarily if your limited to only the 2 channels, Guild and Party. It would have less of an impact on other players who have done nothing wrong but would still prevent you from furthering the action that caused you to be muted. i mean is it really doing anything but hurting the community to have droves of players logging out for hours because they let a curse word slip in world or used the wrong channel?
