In case you wonder, it's an augmented reality game for android phones. Something like geocaching but as a war between 2 factions.
It's pretty fun, you get to walk/skate/bike/drive a lot and meet new ppl in every single city. So just something to get your fat ass off the chair...

Yes it is possible to get the apk separately, but Niantic (dev of the game) update client quite often and then block very old clients, so you will have to update it indivitually. However, be careful from where you download the apk, cause they tend to ban accounts with modified clients. google "ingress 1.51.0 apk"
