Sad news for the community...

#1 » Post by Pausas » 05 Feb 2014 13:46

Like the tittle says, today is a sad day for our community, because we have lost a member. I'm sad to let you know that the player called Banebringer has passed away yesterday, victim of a fatal kidney cancer.

I know that some of you might not know him, but I also know that thebiggest part of the community has seen/played with the guy, and surely knows who I am talking about here. Bane was a nice guy, a former horde player from spermik at start, named Zaziel, if my memory does not fail me. He later changed to ally side and was an important member of our old guild, Peacekeepers.
He was never that active here on truewow, but was still playing sometimes, and i'm pretty sure you have seen him around.
A skilled pvper, a guy that knew how to play his class and use everything as an advantage, but most of all, a good person. From the time I was lucky enough to know him, I have got only good things to say about him, but i'll leave it for you guys to celebrate his life with words, screenshots, anything you guys might have to remember this good friend.

Farewell good friend, and may you R.I.P.

Really sad to hear this.. :(
I was aware of his condition, and every time he was online I'd talk to him, and wish him best of luck when he leaves.. He had treatments every thursday so I insisted on rescheduling the raids, so he can join us..
He wasn't online in some time so I was worried about him.. for the worst that could happen..
He was one of the best players I know, and above all good person. He did everything with understanding, mastered his class.

I didn't really know him, talked to him a few times i think, and i have to thank him for making me cry of laughter

22:58:52 [4. LookingForGroup] [Banebringer]: WHY THE FFS ALL RETRI PALADINS AND PURE DK WISP ME!

With that i might add, although he's no longer with us, we should be thankful for all the moments we had to share with him, and not be sad cause he's no longer here, but rejoice to the fact that we got to know him. RIP

That's something everyone should always remember with such cases. Nicely put, Roger.

Having seen Banebringer around since ye olden days on spermik, this is painful. Even though I never really knew the guy, talked to him personally or even paid great attention to him otherwise, I still feel it's a loss to all of us. Death takes us all, and it's sad to know he had to leave this world so soon.
It's a reminder to us all to enjoy life while we can.

I vouch for a commemoration. A spawned NPC somewhere in Dalaran or elsewhere to remind us of this and -god forbid- other losses. Let's see to it this will not be forgotten.

I wish strength to all his friends online. my condolences.

Best regards,
Dropstaaf.
Rest in Peace Bane.

Didn't know him, but seeing how i've been part of this server for years, made me feel sad
feels like losing someone who we somehow lived with.
