I was thinking if it would be possible to implement a slightly increased daily rhc reward for tanks and healers just to motivate these roles to queue more often. If I am not mistaken, from cataclysm onwards such a system was implemented when queing. Instead of 2 EOF it can be 3-4 EOF perhaps.

Similar was introduced on retail in cataclysm where in demand roles got extra reward if the role they queued for was in demand but dps could get this to if there was only missing dps. Client would show different icon for roles which were marked as in demand and if you queued for that role while active you got additional reward when you completed dungeon 3.3.5 client does not support this so would have to be entirely server side.

I remember yes that cataclysm had this system. Well, presently people need to beg/spam for tanks and healers to join the queue so instead of this, I believe, having a systematic motivation for tanks and healers to join is a better way. I do not know how hard this can be for devs to implement but if daily quest gives EOF instead of EOT, perhaps just modify the daily bonus for tanks and healers. No need to modify anything for dps roles, there are always enough of those.

Easier said than done since rewards for completing are from a daily quest which is a one size fits all approach as would need modifications to core snd custom quests to deal with this snd could also lead to worse situation where there’s lack of dps as rather than queueing for multiple roles will only queue as tank or healer

And I’ve been in queue several times as healer when there’s been tank and heal in queue but no dps
