spec change and mana lost...

During a spec change all mana is lost...we all know that don't we? Now, is it even possible to remove this annoying feature? I mean what are the reasons behind it anyway? It's not like spec can be changed during fight or in BG, so what's the point? Can it be removed? Is it doable? and if so, Please make it go away. As a healer I can't stress that enough how freakin annoying it is once the dung pops up to just respec and wait for mana back ...and the tank is ofc already pulling stuff ...and so the story goes...Please devs make it go away. Spec changes can be done for world PvP so some downtime is required..........oh wait cross faction lel.
