New players incoming. NA. Alliance

#1 » Post by Grashopa » 09 May 2016 13:57

My wife and I are considering coming to this server. The way the progression is set up is what has really drawn me here (I want to experience vanilla raiding at level, but I'm not so much a vanilla purist that it has to be a complete vanilla experience. Look forward to WotLK conveniences).

I typically play Healers and Ranged DPS while my wife is more into the Tanking and Melee DPS (although he hasn't done much raid tanking yet).

We are dedicated players but have limited time to play due to real life. Maybe 10-15 hours a week. We typically play around 7-11 p.m. CST.

Welcome to the server!
You can find a nice starter to PrimalWoW guilds in this thread:

Note that the server supports crossfaction guilds, meaning you do can join Horde guilds/raids/groups as well.

Indeed about the cross faction guilds. Just concerned about the possibility of the population becoming high enough that these guilds will end up cut in half.

My understanding is that if/when the great divide happens, there will be free faction change(s) provided. All the guilds are pretty heavily integrated, and management will have to take this into account. Personally, I don't think they can realistically split the factions any time soon without major upheaval.

When TBC releases, guilds will have to downsize from 40 to 25 which will result in new guilds forming regardless of the faction swap.

It will be a natural change I feel.

We made some characters the other day and fooled around on our retail transfer warlocks. Last night we finally started leveling on the server. What guild out there will have us?
