The best way to know some of warcraft Lore is to play Both Reigin of Chaos and The frozen throne Camping :)

I learned a lot more lore playing from Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Warcraft II Battle.NetEdition along with ^^ mentioned by Crown. But a google search can pull up all the comics and short stories, books.

I've just been watching Nobbel87 videos and wowpedia when I'm truly interested in something, like Elune, emerald dream and why belfs aren't from the alliance :P
