AQ 40 - Brood Of Nozdormu Reputation issue

I dont know which is the best place to post this issue so apologies in advance if this is the wrong place.
I was trying to farm Brood of Nozdormu rep in AQ 40 earlier today. According to the wowhead link, i should be able to get rep by farming trash -http://www.wowhead.com/faction=910/broo ... u#comments. My initial reputation was 0/36000 hated which is as it should be. On killing mobs, chat displayed that my rep with the concerned faction was increasing.

However, in my reputation tab, the rep was actually decreasing by the said amount.


Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
It maybe worth mentioning that according to wowhead it is impossible to be at a lower reputation than 0/36000 with the brood.

Remember when you are unfriendly with a faction it will appear rep goes opposite way until you are neutral ie


Hated 36000 < ---- Neutral (0) ---- > Exhaltd 21000

36000/36000 is most hated you can get when you gain rep this decreases until you get to neutral then starts going other way.

0/36000 is the most hated Doc... After that you go up until you get 36000/36000 and you pass to Hostile, then the same goes until Unfriendly, then Natural, then Friendly, Honored, Revered and Exalted (only after Hated which has the most numeric rep, you get way less reputation to gain, for example Unfriendly is 3000 I think, then it goes up to 6000 in Friendly, 12000 in Honored, 21000 in Revered and Exalted is kind of Symbolic, it has only 1000 reputation to gain, but it never reaches that high number again)

Yea, Doc explained all that to me ingame - prolly just a typo here.. Thanks for clarifying the issue
