Its important to understand the big picture here when deciding on stuff like this. So the current path is that on black temple/hyjal release, all 25 mans drop 2 tokens. On sunwell release all 25 mans drop 3 tokens.

The problem we face now is that most guild have only been killing all T4 token dropping bosses for a month and SSC/TK are just around the corner. I am definitely in favor of making 2xT4 tokens drop on SSC/TK release and I think everyone in this thread and all the other times this was brought up are as well.

We should discuss if we think 2xT5 tokens on release is a good idea, I think it is but my only concern is that T5 will be out for a while and I don't want to see every guild rocking tier 5 purples in 2-3 months. To me, tier pieces are special and fortunately they are bis in TBC T5 onwards so they are extra special compared to vanilla tier sets. I'm definitely leaning towards 2 tokens for all tiers but I think the discussion should be specific to T5 on release.

TLDR:
2xT4 tokens now
2xT4 tokens on SSC/TK release
2xT5 tokens on SSC/TK release
