Wannabe joke left aside: There was a discussion and it was agreed that level 60 RDFs will now have rewards. I guess there was no official announcement made yet after the update.

I recall Kurthos asked /world if they were okay with consumables about a week ago and people seemed to be okay with it. I don't think it was mentioned in the level 60 RDF thread: http://truewow.org/forum/viewtopic.php? ... 30#p397517 Don't know about other threads.
