The tournament will be at Saturday at 17:00h server time, every 2nd week, starting from this weeks Saturday(28th January). The rules are simple:
1. The buy in to participate in the tournament is 50g.
2. No healers allowed.
3. Shamans are not allowed to use Reincarnation.
4. You are not allowed to leave Arena and try to come back once the battle has started.( The ones who try to do that will be disqualified).
5. You have to accept my invite and join the raid, so that we can register you as a competitor.
6. When you die, you are not allowed to Release spirit, until the battle is over.
7. Rogues and Feral druids aren't allowed to go stealth before the battle starts.
8. Paladins aren't allowed to use Divine Shield
9. Before the battle starts, everyone has to be in square which I will mark with flares(center of Arena).
The format of the tournament will be like this. We will try to gather 10 horde players and 10 alliance players. GM will assist us to teleport people in arena. Once all people are there, everyone will be gathered in the middle of arena, where that little chest appears. When we are ready, GM will give a signal, a simple GO. Once the sign is given, the battle starts. The last man standing in arena is the winner.
What do you get?
1. A winner will get a prize based on the number of participants(For example if 20 players participate in the tournament, winner will receive 1000g) + 5000g bonus(Note: Bonus can be changed based on the donation I get from other players, so far I'll be able to give this bonus for the next few upcoming tournaments).
2. There will be an announce in game as well as on forum and on facebook page + ss(So you can get your moment of fame
).Why did we pick 10 horde players vs 10 alliance players format,even though once we step in arena, it doesn't matter which faction you belong?
Because its always good to have a bit of healthy rivalry between factions and which will hopefully motivate people to participate in the event. Also its because the announce will be like this( The winner of World PvP Tournament in Gurubashi Arena is The Champion of Alliance or Horde - X player). The format can be changed based on interest of the people, for example if there are more horde players who want to participate or the alliance ones, but at the end, you will have to fight against people from your own faction
