Would you be so kind and explain me how exactly could that warr that you've linked in your 1st post in this topic crit so high:) Were those people so undergeared or what... What exatcly gives prot warrs that high crits? Crit. strike rating + Armor penentration + strength gems/ enchants?.... and what is the max or the highest crit you've ever seen/heard dealt by prot warr?

Yeah... exatly the video I was about to ask you about...
The thing is that I can't see the ppl's HP....
even if I did it wouldn't help....
I simply cannot grasp the crit values... either that warr was best geared or those ppl were in lvl 200 items:D or maybe something in between....

It's just a video I found to convince people that those crits are possible. When full buffed and in my full pve gear I can crit 0 resilience people for 17k at most with shockwave when not having berserker pickup. For some geared people that really isn't possible and I generally don't get 10k+ crits.

Do u crit the bosses the same or only players? , becoz if u do then OMG! prot warrior needs to be nerfed.

If I go in this gear and spec against bosses I can easily do 10k+ dps BUT if I get aggro I die easy just like any other dps and there is no tank that can do more threat than a prot warrior in dps gear. I only tanked deathbringer 10 man a few times like that because with a few heals that's easy and instead 8 dps you can have 9 dps with one good healer.

What about pvp gear and prot specc?

For me pvp gear reduces my damage more than it adds to survivability because I have 91.8% passive arp which gets me just to the cap with my weapon enchant up. In 2v2 0 resilience works for me against most combs but for 3v3 at least 500 is required. There are rumors about a bug with armor penetration sockets and resilience or something like that which give warriors a huge disadvantage, I need to test this myself to decide if I should get strength gems for my 3v3 gear.

P.S. I will make my accounts GM lvl 1 just like all other staff and have a separate account for admin stuff. I am sorry but maybe some myths will get busted because I obviously can't use such commands as moderator
