Cold snap also vanilla. The only difference between mage defensive cds between vanilla and wotlk is that mana shield absorbs magic as well as physical. The bigger problem is that mage shields aren't affected by the debuff in BGs, which makes them ridiculously good.

Another example of crap that happens when the staff isn't playing its own server.

But yeah, vanilla mages are more or less like introducing a TBC class into a classic environment.
