Yeah, as I said I've stated general PvP knowledge, but what I actually mean is the variety of abilities to use compared to the more limited PvE abilities. It's just a bit more confusing, since more abilities = more conditions in order to use them correctly.

Didn't know about the FF thing, and I don't really get why a Hard cap Arp doesn't eat all the armor. Will do some researches about it.

Powershifting is better to avoid sometimes, vs a Frost mage for example. I got another Macro that takes me back to Normal Form, for faster CC/Slow evade, since Powershifting works on GCD, while shifting back to normal form is not affected by GCD.

It's true that Feral PvP is somehow non efficient for 3v3, many past Ferals complained about that including Stray and Elbowdeep (Easteregg) if you remember him. And it's not that much of a thing in BGs either, except for an unexpected solo fight, if you don't get suddenly zerged while fighting of course :D And Berserk Swiping in a zerg is just for trolling I guess xD

To be honest, in my case, I found PvE easier, and mastered it when I used to be in Drunkies, like 1~ year ago. Wait I can't say I mastered it anymore, since I didn't know about that FF thing :P And anyway I bet there is some additional minor things I don't know about yet.

Of course, you have mastered it. Little info aren't that important. And, well, Feral PvE has many stages. Advanced with FB, more advanced with FB and Swipe, and then a bit more advanced with decreasing the amount of clipping to a minimum of 1 second. It's got room for improvements for any feral, old or new. And if you need any sort of additional info about theories, do whisper me in-game. I can give you the stuff in 2 minutes that a 20 minutes Google research will, lol. Also, if you ever need personalized reference to itemization, you can let me know anytime. I can run simulations just for you because I'm nice like that, lol. =)

What you're saying about PvP is definitely true for a new Feral. But, let me simplify what I was saying. Spending 6 months on Feral PvP gets you more of a comfortable stage than spending 6 months on Feral PvE. The skill cap (the amount of efficiency you can potentially reach), on the other hand, is a whole another story. Both are equally high.

And, Slar, lose that Female Nelf thing and come back to Horde. Remember my "How to be a Pro" guide?

The only real issue with Feral PvP is getting trained in 3v3. That's all.
fixed for you...well for several comps at least, also arp hardcap is given by a function that depends on opponent armor. To put it simply there's a formula which comes out to approximately 45% or so of your enemy's armor (i.e. 12.5k for a 26k armor enemy more or less), you ignore the percentage your character sheet says off the minimum between your opponent's armor and the maximum between the number given by the formula described previously and some lower bound which is 6550 or so I believe. That means you would ignore x% of 6550 vs a 8k armor enemy, x% of 3k armor vs a 3k armor enemy, and x% of 12.5k armor of a 26k armor enemy.

lol, I actually got STR for gear set testing and Itemization xD
I got an ICC 25 HC Sindra geared Feral with no RS gear. So it's basically geared depending on the maximum raid progress we could achieve on Live Realm. It's only Arp hard capped with Rhino Meat to win 2 gem sockets :P Not sure if it's a wise thing to do though.

By the way there is a software that helps simulating gear called R.A.W.R I guess? Have you ever used it or used anything similar?

I'm actually planning on going Horde once I get a new net and start playing more than being a Staff :P But I'll be only PvPing there. I got another PvE dedicated Druid! :geek:

You forgot to mention the math behind it. It's important to know because people need to calculate things on their own. Let me make the calculation considerably easier to understand for the non-theorycrafters.

First, let's calculate the armor constant that I mentioned in my earlier post, C.

This is the formula for calculating C for targets above level 60.

C = [400 + (85 x Target Level) + {4.5 x 85 x (Target Level -59)}]
C = [400 + (85 x 83) + {4.5 x 85 x (83 - 59)}]
C = [400 + 7055 + 9180]
C = 16635

That's the C for a level 83 target (raid boss). Potential penetrable armor of this target would be (Actual Armor + C) / 3. So, let's take your example into consideration -- the 26k one.

(26000 + 16635) / 3 = 14211.67

And, unless you're playing a Kitty Cleave, getting trained as a Feral shouldn't be one of your concerns, starving of energy to put pressure over a long time should be.

And, Slar, RAWR is great for reference. I wouldn't call it perfect, but it's a good place to get some quick opinions. =)

Yeah I see, never used RAWR anyway. By the way, does Bleed effects go through (Actual Armor + C) /3? Or this just applies for Arpen?

Bleeds, although purely physical, ignore armor completely. It also can't be resisted. =)

They're just opinions. JUST OPINIONS. They're not certified ranks. Just observe them. There's no need to question others' opinions. We only question facts and conclusions. =)

If you want a name, i would probably say Purger is the best warrior here, because i know he plays the class for a very long time and has mastered it.
