Gatherer Addon

#1 » Post by Phatum » 19 Jan 2014 20:56

Hello everyone!

I don't seem to find any gatherer addon working on TrueWoW.
Any idea where to get a compatible version? They all show as out of date.

Thanks in advance.

You can mark 'Load out of date addons' in your addon list on your characters screen to load out of date addons.

What Rehan said +

Alternatives to Gatherer:
1. Gathermate: inspired by Gatherer took it a bit further and also is less resource-hungry. Only reason to use Gatherer instead IMO is if like its interface better and don't use the "GOODIE!" I mention bellow. ;)
2. MetaMap: has several modules for several things. There's a module performing the same functionality as Gatherer/GatherMate.

Now for the GOODIE!
If you want to share your "findings" with other members (and have theirs added to your ow lists), you don't have to stick to one of the above just because that's what your friends and guildies use. GatherTogether is an addon which enables you to share with anyone who uses one of the three addons mentioned! Just choose your preferred one and load GatherTogether as well and voila!, it's like you're all using the same one! Works fine both ways with any of the three, either for sending your updates as well as for receiving others. ;)
