Many Whelps! Handle it! (Both 10 & 25 man) doesn't work

After having tried three times, I assume the achivement doesn't work or isn't implented. Yet I've seen people earn it as late as in January 2013, so I'm not sure.

How it should work: When the boss reaches 65 %, she enters phase 2, basiclly hatch 50 whelps within 10 seconds, survive and kill the boss. Done.

Do you stand in the outer edges to manually spawn more whelps? Because that is required, and they also do that in the video.

Yes, of course. We even used two guys to spawn them.

did you also get 50 whelps to spawn within 10 seconds, you have to get 50 whelps to spawn in addition to the ones that spawn anyway within 10 seconds of onyxia taking off in p2 or thats how its meant to work.

Just in case this still doesn't work, as it was bugged more than a year ago when i reported this bug, there seems to be a fix here

@Doctor_J: Yes, I'm pretty sure we got 50 whelps to spawn within 10 seconds of the lift off. We had one person on each side to spawn them.

Anyways, instead of asking me if we did it correctly, couldn't you just test it with a Game Master character? There's always a small chance that even though I think we did it correctly, we might have been missing a few whelps or something like that. Yet I do atleast believe we've done it correctly, atleast considering we've tried to do it three times recently.

No did not get that far but when was looking through armoury did notice that some people do have this ach, and achievement_criteria_data looks fine to me.

that achiev is indeed bugged and it used to work on Bloodcraft long ago so some ppl have it, not sure about on TW tho...
sadly i dont have SS to prove it but we tryed too

By 'working' on Bloodcraft, he means it was auto complete 3 years ago.

After testing on the STR realm, I've comed to a conclusion that the achivement does work. However you must wait with pulling the whelps till the boss actually starts flying (when she has moved over to the entrance of her room). She'll yell "This meaningsless exertion bores me. I'll increrite you all from above!", that'll be your call to spawn the whelps.

No need to have the report around here anymore, trash it!

unconfirmed... tryed today.. gave 10 more extra seconds... spawned over 80 whelps and killed her and not achiev...
still bugged!

Bugged definitely, I tried it too. There were more than 60 whelps in like 5 sec, we only didn't killed them within 10 sec if that is the problem. Some servers had that script wrong like that, you have to spawn and kill them in 10 sec, which is impossible imo. Check the fix, maybe you wrote that sentence in script wrongly too

Did both of you start pulling after Onyxia yells "This meaningsless exertion bores me. I'll increrite you all from above!"? I've done it over and over on the STR now.
