Brewmaster - Report 2013

Started this topic since there doesn't seem to be one related to this at this point in time (Aside from the Brew of the Year Achievement which is not needed for the event title and it takes a while to complete, so I'll leave that thread on it's own).

So for Brewmaster

It seems that only 2 achievements to get the title are in-obtainable at this point in time, namely:

*Down with the Dark Iron - for this I am not entirely sure since no-one I asked seemed to know anything about it and Quest Starting Item isn't particularly descriptive
*Direbrewfest This bugger was not yet spawned last I checked.

Obviously any additional feedback on the event is appreciated.

in addition to above:

Brew of he Year - http://www.truewow.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=10738 despite this post, my quests did not reset and i was able to buy a drink from the vendor (which is not a bad thing)

quest Catch the Wolpertinger - cannot use the provided quest item. Error says "This spell is not available to you"
quest Bark for the Thunderbrews! - using the povided quest item does nothing. goign to the places manually does nothing

my brewfest clothes and tokens somehow disappeared from bank o.O

replying to my own post with updates:

- quests have now properly reset
- Brew of the Year works properly (except for the mails)
- Catch the Wolpertinger works now
- Bark for the Thunderbrews! - QC
- Down with the Dark Iron now works
- Coren now works (including RDF)

don't know about brewfest cloths you should still have those I still have mine, about tokens though if you had tokens from last year affraid those get deleted at the end of the event, that got fixed last year but as far as cloths are concerned you should still have those

I kept my brewfest hat, but yes the tokens were gone at the end of the event last year.

so how exactly do I earn brew of the year achiev, if I don;t get drinks in my mail? could they all be placed in that vendor in IF atleast for the duration of brewfest? thanks

I believe the NPCs of each faction are perma spawned. You visit them each month for the brew. Need Doc to confirm.

All vendors are spawned will work as intended, vendor will change each month, each vendor sells only the beer for the current month for which is is spawned.

Only thing not working is the mails/samples you are meant to receive. You have to buy from vendor for 1s50c for 6.

Okay, but in IF, I only saw one vendor, but that was 2 days ago maybe, I haven't checked since then so that may have confused me. I will go check out again and see if all the vendors are spawned now.

they are spawned but you can only see one different vendor is visible each month,

Oh, I understand, thank you very much. Back on BC we had all the vendors spawned, but only a few of them had drinks, the drinks were however present all year.

Okay a new bug has arosed, maybe for me only.
I bought the brew of the month membership quest thing and when I tried to use it it said you are already on that quest, and I haven;t completed it this year... I did complete it last year though.

My question is... are you sure you need to make this quest every year?
And incase of anything, can I please get the item removed and have my tokens refunded? I was hoping to get more outfits.

5th edit in 10 mins....
