Children's Week

Horde:

http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10951
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10953
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10960 (When I grow up...) <- shouldn't exist at all - see comments

http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10975
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10945
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=11975
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10967 (Back to the Orphanage)

Alliance:
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10943
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10950
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10952
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10954
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10956
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10962
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10968
http://old.wowhead.com/?quest=10966 (Back to the Orphanage)

I have already completed all quests (Horde) a year or two ago, but to be able to get that achievement, at least Back to the Orphanage has to be reset every year.. and that one makes little sense without all others reset as well. (.. and no, they haven't reset - that's the issue.)

There is noting wrong with any of these quests I fixed the ones which did not work,

Players who did quests in a previous year cant repeat quests again this year so you can only get one pet each matron ever, atm

As said there is nothing wrong with quests them selves the problem is elsewhere, ie a player who has never done any of these quests can do these quests and receive pets unfortunately due to children's week quests never resetting if you the quests in a previous year you cannot repeat them,

Ps When I grow up is not part of chain anyway its only Now, When i Grow Up.

All players who previously done quests for children's week in previous years are in same boat, there are no quests available as they have already done them in a previous year, only players new players or those who never did cw quests can do them.

So, isn;t there a way to manually reset it for people who did it in the previous years?
Cause that's preety much the question asked here. :D

yes there is but if its reset now it resets it for everybody including those who already did quests this year as there is no way to determine when quest was completed.

Not this year no as I explained above there is no way of determining which year a quest was completed, if we reset now it resets for everyone including those who already did quests this year which would mean some people get 2 pets in same year, remember this achievement is meant to take 3 years to complete.

Well.. what if you reset all quests for the characters that have gotten no achievements in that category this year?
1) All achievements were completed some other year -> reset quests
2) No achievements are completed -> reset quests
3) Some achievements are completed other years and some this year, but since those characters still had access to some quests this year -> no reset

Meh, not expecting a miracle - it's just an idea.

In my opinion. Announce a few times you will reset the quests, say, tomorrow, and so anyone that won't finish the chain until that reset will have to redo the whole chain. That way those that finished wont be bothered to do the chain again and those who didn't read or get the chance to do the chain get 2 whole days to do the quests. Although, thinking of it, won't players that completed the chain the first time this year be able to do the chain AGAIN if the quests get reset? Also, if this suggestion gets accepted and people still didn't get the chance to do the chain because of the reset, you can extend the event for one or two days... Like Pilgrim!

Quests reset and added to their respectful table. I don't have to say what the ramifications of this action are, since they are already aforementioned in the above posts.

Thus update just resets the quests and adds them to appropriate DB table, nothing more.

What does that suppose to mean? Because today I only saw the oprhan matrons had one quest, the one to talk to the orphans. After completing it, they have no quests (the orphans)...
