How to sell enchants?

#1 » Post by Barskin » 27 Feb 2011 16:38

So I was trying to trade with the guy, and them he put the item in will not be trade. After enchant, and trying to accept the trading, it sad the item was not ready. His axe was kind high level, and my enchant was kind low level, is there any problem enchanting things like that or I'm just doing wrong?

Ok what happened to you is that you enchanted an item that was in the ''will not be traded tab'', and that it has, after both you and the person trading with you, clicked the trade button, the enchant was gone from the item and the trade window remained open as nothing has happened, right?

If that is the problem here is what you need to do:
Keep trying

it seems to have no pattern as to why sometimes this occurs and it can be very frustrating at times but eventually it will work if you keep chanting the item and clicking the trade.

Your materials are not lost during an failed attempt so there is no need to worry about that.
Canceling the trade completely and opening it again will not increase/decrease the success % of the chanting process.
Including other items and/or gold also does not affect the chanting part of the trade at all.
If you dont have the patience to try 1 or 2 or even 20 times to chant 1 item then i recommend to keep an supply of Armor and Weapon vellums of the proper level for enchantments which you can purchase from Scribes ( or as some ppl refer to them -Inscriptioners- /rolls eyes )

P.S. about the item level... there is no enchant that is to low for an item,so an low lvl enchant can go on any item. Some enchants however do have an minimum item level written next to them and may go only on items of that or higher level.

Solution: Hold down the Trade button for one second.

It's not bugged. If I recall correctly:

Let's have here enchanter (he sells enchantments) and player (buyer)
- start trade
- buyer put the item
- buyer accpet trade
- enchanter puts enchantment
- trade window resets so buyer has to accept trade
- enchanter accepts
- both accepts again to confirm
