For all the people claiming my fix for them was wrong, which eventually pissed me off enough to revert it:

Yes, cold flames spawn inside him at all times.

Yes, you need to move around as a tank and to not get hit by them.

but they still spawn in the air, and deal dmg to people who are under them... maybe that;s why people were complaining

No, they were complaining because they are used to slack under marrowgar and never get hit by flames and when flames start spawning inside boss they got owned.

i havent noticed flames werent spawning on tanks i remember they did when i tanked and had to move all the time, about flames spawning in the air yes they spawn in the air and still dmg anyone under them kinda annoying and hard to notice.

And I was almost kicked from raid for not moving in to stand under Marrowgar.. pfft lazy people always wants the easy way out

try for a retail video showing the 3.3.5 patch of wotlk or earlier. As far as I know, this fix was implemented after the prerelease of cataclysm. Though I'll check on that.

flames spawning mid air is caused by spiked people.

Just the same issue at PP. when pp throw bottles to 2 random raidmembers, if these are thrown in the air by green ooze or by orange pots, the puddles can spawn mid air, same with flames i think.

Altho it's been a while since i saw both things occuring.
