Taunt the bosses every time it's off cd. Main tanks enjoy helping hands.
Oh and the bosses that cast fires? well they appear as fires only to surprise and deceive everyone who joins the raid - they are really buffs. Step on them 5 seconds and you gain Fiery Combustion. 300% more hp and damage. I know it seems anti-intuitive to stand in the fires, but it just takes a leap of faith.
Note: On some raids the fires are replaced by void zones and the like - most likely there's buffs on them as well, make sure you dive right into them and explore.
