Disagree, I'm a female Draenei Shaman, and I'm not all that bad, IMO. ^^ Same counts for Ravoness and Nalaya for example.
Also, there is a number of great DKs, really. But there is indeed some nab DKs around (6)
People may feel special if they have t9 on their first char, I think, they're just happy that they're getting closer to gear up
Anyways, another way to tell if people are noobs is if they are named Peithne or Cover.

Once you do so, you will need to change your realmlist. You can do this by opening the WoW directory and navigating to (Data>EnUs>) open up realmlist.wtf with notepad and change it to
