Progressing into TBC..

#1 » Post by Gehere » 10 Apr 2017 17:28

Hello all,

Quick question.

When Primal progress into TBC expansion, will a free race change be made available for the current population?

If not - will a vanity point bought race change, include customization of your characters appearance?

The opportunity for race change to re-roll as a Blood Elf / Draenei will come indeed, but not free of charge.

As for the currency, from what being seen you'll most likely have to pay the same value as listed here: https://truewow.org/shop - Note, customization is NOT race-change.

What I mean is, IF I decide to change my race, will it allow customizarion of my character appearance?

Race change allows you to customize your character as the new race, you'll be able to choose how your new character looks.

That's the feature of faction-change.

Name Change: Edit Name
Customization: Edit name, gender and look
Race Change: Edit name, gender, look and Race
Faction Change: Edit name, gender, look, race and Faction

Note: Purchasing race-change does for example not require one to do all of the things listed. Meaning, you can actually buy the service but only use to for a rename if you so desire.

Oh I see you are saying its a paid service. Ok. Just trying to figure out what to do with a cross faction guild when TBC comes.

Common false information is circulating that we are removing crossfaction guilds etc. Immediately at TBC release. This is not the case.
Welcome to the new decade! Let's hope the Roaring 20's come with just as much jazz, but a bit less prohibition and Great Depression. 8-)

Am I misunderstanding something, or does this FACTION CHANGE actually mean, I could play a Draenei Priest on the Horde side? Or a Blood Elf Rogue, on the Alliance side?

No, you cannot play Alliance races in the Horde or vice versa, and will be forced to change your race to one fitting of the faction you are joining.

You might want to add this explanation to the actual service selection menu, because it is unclear (and this is, in fact, the case) whether the more expensive service also includes services that cost less (for example, race change also includes character customization and gender change, as well as name change options).

Are you implying that cross faction will be removed later, if not immediately? If so, when? Is there like a big FAQ sheet for TBC somewhere? Something like that would be spectacular.

If population is stable around 500 for a good while they would consider it. Fairly certain that was the response last time
