Do not open transfers from TW to PW

I've thought about it and it could end TW for good.
We finally got a nice series of CrossFaction Bgs going on and raids and such.
If you do this ,many people will just go primal to start a new "life" without ever coming back.

Just wait for the planned merge thats gonna happen anyway.

Without knowing all the details behind it, (which are still being discussed), I'd say the point of this thread is kind of hasty.

I'm new here, and came onto the server with two of my friends. We're really interested in world PVP and BGs while we level. As those aren't there we would rather just do dungeons on a more populated server. If transfers open, we'd probably ding 30 and transfer.

I don't really have too much of an opinion, but if player longevity is the goal, we're more likely to play WoW if we're having fun, we're more likely to have fun with more players. The only reasons (and they're small ones) I can think of us not being on PW right now, is that the NPCs in the beginning areas aren't aggressive (we all really miss that, it taught newbies to be careful), and we want to play Burning Crusade (but that's coming soon...and isn't a big deal). If transfers open we'll switch servers, likely other people will too (who knows, maybe PW players will go to TW?).

If the theory is that a lot of people will be jumping from TW, and moving over to PW, killing TW (and perhaps netting less players in the interm). Then I'd say open transfers and see if it's worth keeping TW around. One nicely populated server is going to be way more fun than a couple sorta populated ones.

In my opinion, I think TW players that quit might find a reason to come back and play if they were allowed to have a copy of their char on PW. Have you any idea of the amount of in-active level 80 characters on the TW realm right now? Please think it through. People might not return to TW but they might return to PW if allowed to transfer since not everyone (including myself) has had a chance to experience vanilla.

Don't worry, TW will die when Stormwhatever is live. Just hope that we can xfer to Stormwhatever like what DW did when they decided to ended their Wotlk server for that weird progression server
