I just heard from someone that Aeszshara, once an infamous (or notorious, whatever you wanna put) shaman, is now a paladin.

From what I know this server doesn't allow changing class. not even with vote points.

Or is it only possible for gms to change their own character's classes as one of their "privileges" ?

How about... she renamed her shaman to something else... and then renamed her paladin to Aeszshara...

I asked her personally and she said some kinda "changing account" or whatever -

it wasn't simply changing one character's name to another.

Mode or gms don't get such privileges as suggested earlier, at least I know mods don't

1. Mods and GMs do not have the privilege to class change. We do not have ANY unfair advantage over players; our GM characters are completely separate.
2. Account trading is allowed but 100% at your own risk. We do not encourage it and will not offer support if you're ripped off etc.
3. You can rename your character using vote points.

She didn't trade accounts though. She has the same account name as before. It seems to have only been a character trade. I don't know how that's possible.. but she, herself, said that it was only a character trade and not an account trade.

On occasion, Roel will move a character account-to-account for staff. The reason is not that staff have extra privileges, but so that mods/GMs have Account Level 1 while playing their characters (so we can mute/etc).

Ah , so that doesn't mean you can change class ( shaman to pala etc.) during the process or does it ?

Okay it seems there's ALOT of confusion and i will explain this once and for all.

Considering i am a moderator and wanted to trade characters with another player. Roel was so kind to just swap the characters for me. This ALOT easier than having to swap the moderation rights to another account etc and alot safer for me and him to do. The players i traded with could be trusted fully. But still we both didin't to take any risk

Normal player shouldn't even bother to ask roel for such a swap. He will just completly ignore it. Well that's what i think at least. It's not unfair at all that this can only be done for staff members and not for players. There's a reason behind this.

I hope you all can understand Roel's reasons for not doing this for normal players.
