I joined this server a week ago and the idea is amazing. Thank you for the devs for making this happen but...

Please consider releasing content faster. I'm not one of those who scream BWL release after their first MC run but let's be honest. I bet 99% of the players here have played vanilla-bc-LK content earlier. 6 months is very very long time to wait when we know what is going to happen. You don't have to rush but 3-4 months between raids/ arena seasons sounds more realistic.

Kazzak coming in a few days. Onyxia & ZG in September, BWL in December.. I think it's fine.

I think the most exciting part about this is playing the low tier content with the current mechanics. Because that's different, new. The faster we reach the end of the progression the faster players will start to get bored and lose interest in playing.

New way to look at this game. A scent of fresh air in dull world on copy/pase private server world.

This WILL work... i'm 100% sure of it.

100% agree! ^_^

Hello Primal WoW and anyone else who is interested

This may sound a little bit weird, but it could boost the population of Primal WoW. As you ofcourse know, Primal WoW and True WoW are hosted by the same people. So it may be a nice idea to give anyone who's able of proving he has a Truewow account with a level 80 (or something) a little boost on Primal WoW. No, l'm not suggesting this because I have a Truewow account, it just sounds like a good idea to me.

This is the actual timeline....

2004
Early in the year - World of Warcraft Beta testing

November 23 - World of Warcraft launches in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

2006
September 11 - Burning Crusade announced to be released on January 16, 2007

October - Beta begins for Burning Crusade

2007
January 9 - Patch 2.0.3 - Dark Portal Opens event

Kruul begins attacking places in Azeroth

January 16 - The Burning Crusade expansion released

2008
November 13 - Wrath of the Lich King expansion released

So as you can see the timeline, from the original launch of World of Warcraft (Vanilla) to the release of Wrath is exactly 4 years, almost to the day in fact. TBC was released at approximately the half way point, give or take a couple of months. So to remain faithful to the original timeline, Primalwow's timeline should be something like ...

Early 2015 - Launch
Early 2017 - TBC
Early 2019 - Wrath

Hi,

just my thoughts, after reaching lvl 51.

I like the overall concept, and i love playing my dear old WoW.

Things that need to go for me to stay longtime:

RDF (!), crossfactions, no openworld pvp, people talking in worldchat over retail, max dmg builds BiS and so on. It kills the feeling of being in a world. Thats what this server could achieve. And even if you lose some players, the real humans will stay if you catch my meaning. Doing the above and this would be perfect. Its already very enjoyable for me, but not longterm.

Wait, you have ARENA? 2v2 and 3v3?

How's the CC? Is it DR'ed? (sap, sheep, blind & fear?)

Seriously, this sounds fun as fuck

Here's the arena ladder for PrimalWoW (just add the =p for other ladders to see PW):
HAI
CAN HAZ STDIO?
VISIBLE "HAI WORLD, IZ GNURF!"
KTHXBYE

We haven't discussed it yet but I don't think we should allow transfers from either TrueWoW or retail to Primal.
