New player here
Hi everyone,
I just requested a character transfer here (hopefully it will be accepted!) and was wondering how the raiding oppurtunitys look like? Also how easily is it to get groups for normal and HC for gearing up?
Cheers

To quote some people: "LFM ONY/VOA 9K Gayscore min, brained ppl only"
That should give you an approximate idea.

Alrighty then, let me explain it in proper english. There are quite a few people that have ridiculous gear requirements for their raids, higher than what the particular raid provides. This is certainly not cool.
And please, don't even try to deny it.
Re: New player here
Ofc, we know all 4 of them. They are setting those requests so they would be solo rollers.
Seems you were only in their raids.

Re: New player here
Think the problem of raids asking for 6k gs to do icc 10 Normal is more of an alliance problem, it does not happen that often on Horde side
Re: New player here
And one great thing about tw due to been on old expansion, theres no Ahead of the Curve.

Welcome to the server! Hope you'll enjoy it here as much as most of us do.
The answer to your question will depend a lot on the times at which you're available to play. If you can at during European primetime, then gearing up and doing PUG raids will be easy on both factions. If you're on American time, it will be much slower, and you may need to use weekend mornings/afternoons as a time to gear up.
About gear requirements? Well, as a representative of the alliance who has spent a fair bit of time also playing horde, I can say that from my experience, raids don't have different gear requirements than they do on horde, and typically require GS obtainable in the next-lower raid than the one being advertised (5k GS from ToC in order to join icc10n, 5.2-5.5k from icc10 in order to join icc25n, and so forth). Hope that answers your question.
