Shadowmourne proc chance: open topic for discussion.
Re: Shadowmourne proc chance: open topic for discussion.
Not everything that is changed is included in patch notes.
As for being "wrong" it was just me stating that your interpretation of "melee attacks" is wrong, not the patch notes themselves.
Anyways this topic is just beating on a dead horse, the staff on TW will not be changing the way SM works to either increase the proc rate or lower it further, so this topic might as well just be locked & buried.
& tbh I'd rather a dev worked on this bug http://www.truewow.org/bugs/view.php?id=560 than pay attention to SM shard proc rate .

I'd say that trying is the best one can do in order to higher themselves from the people crying and only complaining. Whilst you try, it doesn't mean it is always going to be the most successful result but I'd like to think that it is still a better choice than standing idle.

I guess I was just misinformed then, I thought Consecration was an AoE and not a melee attack. I also didn't knew the application of Seal of Vengence/Corruption was considered a melee hit.Relina wrote:Not everything that is changed is included in patch notes.

You'd think Blizzard would've been good enough to inform the public about a massive buff to a legendary weapon, but since they can count Consecration as a melee attack I guess they can skip a few lines in a patch note.

Yes, I know there is a special place in Hell for me.
It's called a Throne.

Seal is applied via a hidden melee swing & has been like that since Seal of Corruption/Vengeance was added to the game (don't take my word for it, you can check for yourself if u searched a bit).
And as for Blizz missing stuff on patch notes, nothing I can do about that is there, if ppl on retail reported SM shards proccing from Consc, either they are lying or it was indeed like that, if you care to find any post on that forum thread refuting the posters claim of Consc proccing shards, please link it .

So any new updates on this, soul fragment generation for death knight is really absurd, do you guys (dev) need any proof for fixing this or ...?

Lack of proof is not a problem, its actually making it blizzlike instead of hilariously broken.
Also some pvp players not wanting this.

You mean mostly this The amount of QQing was ridiculous lmao. Sadly I never got even close to level 80+ on my retail paladin so never tested. :/ItchyVortex wrote: Also some pvp players not wanting this.

Landsoul the warrior already did a test, you can check it in this thread I posted about it, and yeah, pets are bugged as Unholy and this shard generation makes it fucked up spec in terms of dps
