I have reached a bit of an impasse.

#1 » Post by xXToYeDXx » 13 Apr 2015 02:50

I'm level 28 and I seem to have run out of quests for my level. The only quests I can find are 4-8 levels higher than my own, and mobs are 4-6 levels higher than me. Any advice? It seems that 1-60 on true wow is paced like vanilla without the xp nerfs that WoTLK introduced to get new players into 70-80 content as quickly as possible.

It would be helpful if you listed the areas you supposedly already completed and the faction of this character.

Without that info and from the top of my head, though:

- Southshore
- Duskwood
- Thousand Needles (¿?)
- Stonelaton Mountains
- Ashenvale

Horde.

I've done Thousand Needles(up until the higher level quests in Shimmering Flats which are all red), Stonetalon Mountains, Ashenvale and Hillsbrad Foothills. Every quest I can take now is red.

try going back to lvl 10to 20 areas you suposedly completed and finish any remaining quests there, there should be some more which send you into the next area unlocking new quest chains
and I am surprised you hit only 28 by doing 4 lvl 20 to 30 areas....I can bet my money you missed a ton of quests

i never had trouble finding quest on either side, but for horde you can also visit descolace and feralas to continue leveling, its the less populair zones but imo nice enough to visit. also for the zones you visited you should have found more quest as others mentioned you might missed some chains.

One thing to take into consideration in x1 is that every quest counts. It's a bit harder in vanilla zones (coz no zone specific achievement), but you can use addons like carbonite (with 'show quest givers on map' on) or Zygor's.

You did Skip a lot quests. if you did get few lvls by bgs or rdf it can make a lot "problems" because you can easy lost quests line.try to go back to low lvl zones and use that option to show low level quest givers on your minimap. There is a lot quests to be like 1-2 highter lvl then mobs re in zone where you do lvl

Suggestion: Try finding some dungeon quests in town to grab. Pull up WoW Wiki and slap in dungeons that are in ur RDF Catalog.

You're 28? Questing zoneS? Off to STV with you (make sure to take quest from Shimmering Flats from a dwarf who sends you to find the huntard camp, quest is neutral). There's Horde base, huntard camp and Booty Bay (connected with Ratchet). Enjoy the PvP zone! Also, Arathi Highlands are level 30-ish, initial few quests are.

28 is too early for STV, there won't be any doable quests (or any quests available at all)

It's impossible to run out of quests really. You must have skipped some.
And since you say that there aren't any more quests you can do in the usual zone you go to at your level I suggest doing RDF a few times until you get to level 30+ (preferably 32) and resume leveling in Stranglethorn Vale.
RDF gives a lot of XP, and you will also get loot so it shouldn't get too boring.

No, TrueWoW definitely the correct WotLK numbers. Vanilla was much slower.
