Change Character Order

Since I couldn't find anser via search... I have very simple question.

Is there any way to change characters order on a selection screen?

Now they are set by the creation date and it's not the best setting if you main end up as 4th or 7th.

There is no way to do that using game files since character list is on server side. I also can't find way to sort them using account management here on site.

No, it has always been this way since the official release of WotLK.

I'm sure I saw sorting by highest level somewhere but it probably wasn't wotlk server. Thanks for fast reply.
