Extremely disappointed with the demigod-like powers Jaina was given. It's true that she was always one of the most powerful mages on Azeroth, but some things are just plain ridiculous. Not even Medivh, or Khadgar themselves would have been able of pulling the shit she has been pulling with her new ghostship.

By the way, Sylvanas did nothing wrong.

You just jelly that Jaina is bad ass! :P

But if you see the other cinematics you'll notice Jaina is not that active as it is in the battleship one, prolly exhausted.

And as much as I like Sylvanas, she did something wrong, she joined the HORDE and the HORDE must be destroyed!

I haven't touched retail since they were Wotlk, just enganged myself with the BFA prepatch and now are having a monk as main. It's tough to catch up to everything, lore and gameplay but ultimately the systematical PvE environment ^_^

Those cinematics are amazing though, but I prefer ones like the old Soldier one by far.

The only other theory that comes to mind would be instead of going Garrosh 2.0, she is going Arthas 2.0. Instead of it being the purging of a city, it's the purging of the world tree.

I don't think that the Emerald Nightmare was fully dealt with, and perhaps the World Tree iwould have acted as an anchor for it to come to the world and not stay where it was. Burning down the tree could be a way to close that gate way off if it is possible for the nightmare to come that way.

If they are going to go the way of things being morally grey. I could see it going that way. Do the ends justify the means? it all depends on who you ask. Would the Night Elves if given a message like, "Unless your tree is burned to the ground, the Emerald Nightmare will come to Azeroth and damn the whole world." Uther seemed like he had a pretty level head and wasn't stupid by any means. Even he hoped there would have been another way. Was there another way? I don't think so unless you count the whole lightforged undead that seem to be coming out with the death and rebirth of Carlia.

Would the Night Elves been like, "Oh sure just come and burn it down to the ground." MAYBE! some of them would have seen the truth, but I think there would have been another culling incident either way. I know you like your home, but this MUST happen.

Is it just as we all see, a tactical move? I think it could just be an added bonus.

I have other theories floating around in my head as to what is going on. But just felt like sharing this one until I can put into words my other ideas.

Added to original post as well.

Fun facts:
Daelin Proudmoore is voiced by Mark Addy (the actor who portrayed Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones).
Katherine Proudmoore is voiced by Indira Verma (the actress who portrayed Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones).

I felt kind of let down with the latest Warbringers. The one with Jaina and the one with Sylvanas felt more connected to the current story. Like they talked about things going on in the story. The Azshara one felt more like they were just reinventing the wheel and putting pictures to a story people that follow lore already knew.

I just love the BFA Alliance cinematics, totally amazing. Then you look at the horde ones... some trolls saying "no u" at eachother.

The horde story is about making deals with the badass god of death, fighting the old god's corruption, killing troll gods and ancient curses... while the alliance side has a sad mom story, fighting feelings and giant bees and quillboars. It's clearly a point of view when it comes to which side has the most appealing cinematics and plotline.
