[TW] We are Guinea Pigs?

Some interesting things have been said recently that I feel needs its own thread.

Multiple people have been saying whats going on for a long time and how TW is being treated, the staff have been denying it for so long and we have just had an omission from Flooded that TW is being used as a testing ground, we are guinea pigs for the new wotlk progression realm (stormhold?)

Some staff feedback would be appreciated as I don't think I am the only one who is not happy with this.

Because you have asked for staff feedback, here is my personal view only.

For quite a while now, I have seen people are upset because they believe that TW does not receive the same support and updates as Primal. From where I stand, applying the new core and working to bring the same updates to TW as Primal is an attempt to change that false view that we do not care about or support our TrueWoW players.

Sure, you might call this testing. But all testing is trying something for future work. Every small patch and script is testing for something bigger. That doesn't mean we intentionally reduce the quality of the current experience for the long run. It means we are working in small increments to better all experiences: TrueWoW, PrimalWoW, Stormhold, or whatever the future holds for us. Some ideas were tested on Primal and brought to TW. Others may go the opposite direction. Some may be arbitrary, many others are need driven.

Yes, it has been messy on TW recently. No, it is not perfect (or even close) yet. But to be upset there are no updates and then complain that there were updates isn't very easy to address from our side. If we face nothing but an uphill battle against any form of progress (toward what we used to be or toward a different future) then I'm not sure how hearing staff views on any topic will help to settle your mind.

All I really have to say is that I'm very sorry the experience you are having is not the experience we hoped to provide you. I will personally continue to provide the best service I can for each individual issue and hope that, in time, this will be enough to make at least a small positive impact on our community.

First of all with new core there is no raid that you can do on TW :Naxx,Ulduar,Icc,VoA, mount run like TK everything is bugged, now about PvP every class is fucked (not in good way).So you said "Sure, you might call this testing. But all testing is trying something for future work" you wanna test something bugged on almost dead server? players on TW can only afk in Dalaran, and these fixes will take months even more cus this is second week and still its just talk about shits of new core and nothing done to fix.AND DO YOU THINK PLAYERS WILL STAY 1MONTH AFK IN DALA ? we lost players with crossfraction old and all new so you can count players on fingers who keep server still alive.O yea few days ago there was Ulduar 10 and boss was bugged, RL made ticket and ofc no GM on to help, so he had to call raid , so what he did next is went on PW made ticket and in 15min got answer so pls dont shit that you care about TW , if you care you would say "we made mistake we apologise!"

Open bug reports about the reported issues and they'll be fixed. We are fixing content every day. There's no room for threads like this that contribute with nothing.
