How active is the level 15-40ish dungeon scene?

#1 » Post by SkyeMcCloud » 25 Apr 2017 05:21

Got a level 60 transfer (much appreciated!) to get a nice leg up and experience the Vanilla content and Dark Portal event before The Burning Crusade drops, but in the meantime I'm also leveling up other characters to get a feel for it all. Curious how active the 15-40ish dungeon scene is right now? Mainly because it'd be nice to complete quests lol

Thanks for advice :)

Active on Primal, especially peaking outside raid hours (generally 8 ST or NA time) when people abandon their alts for end game stuff :) You can easily find someone willing to give you a run through if the groups aren't popping for you for the quests, though!

I find RDF active in waves. From 16-20s it goes a lot as everyone is burning through their DM and WC runs. Then again from low 30s to 40s you get a lot of RDF for SM. In the middle youll get the odd Gnomer run. Being able to queue as Healer/DPS or Tank/DPS will speed things up a lot for you, obviously.

Almost lvl 20 and I was in 2 RDF groups:

RFC, rushing to Taragaman, group disbanded.
DM, 2nd boss, Tank did not get the loot, left group.

Rating 9/10 Would group again.

I´m not even mad. Just curious if when the dungeons will get more demanding and require a bit of class knowledge the players will stick to the group and finish the dungeon actually. (Maybe SM? Or later in ZF? We´'ll see)

I've never actually seen people leaving unexpectedly or ragequitting. But I see a lot of people roleswapping and getting upset when we wipe. Hunter especially will go forward tanking then ask why tank can't keep aggro, lol. Also blizzlike ;)

Things tend to get more levelheaded around 40-50 because people aren't feeling in as much of a rush to cap anymore. They're close so they calm down. Or, you know, not... You can always ignore anyone who gives you a bad group experience :)
