Possibility of moving characters in between accounts when they are bound to same forum account.

I hope the staff members are doing fine, and staying safe. I want to know that, is it possible to implement a feature to allow moving characters in between accounts when the account is bound to the same forum account? I know previously it was discussed and then was not implemented considering account security. But when accounts are bound to the same forum account, the forum account already claimed the ownership of that in-game account. So letting someone transfer characters in between accounts won't introduce any new security concerns. Because the account owner have to let go account information and unbind it to let anyone bind it to their forum account.

The idea came to my mind because, i came back to server, and i have a few scattered game accounts. Most of the time i can dual box to do PvE stuff (which is permitted i assume considering the low population) and help others. But most of my tank, heal and dps character are all on same account. So when i want to tank with one toon and keep another as DPS (to help the low geared toon) i can not. If i could transfer the DPS toon to another account and keep Tank, heal and dps all in separate accounts, i could do it easily. It will provide freedom with whichever character i want to play with and get gear with. This is not illegal by any means because i have to play to gain gears.

Another thing is, suppose one of my old buddy wants to join the game with me to chill, but he is lazy as f to level. Will not play if he has to level from 1 anyway, if i give him one of my level 80 characters creating a new in game account and then unbind the account, he can get that with his own forum account and play along with me without getting my other main characters exposed to him.

I hope i will get some insight from the staff and response if implementing this is possible in TW. Many other mainstream servers have this feature already.

I think this is exactly the problem with your feature request. Transfer a character to a new game account and then unbind and give the game account to your friend's forum account? Is it really that hard to reach level 80 with x3 xp rate?

I think you are missing the point. Some people just do not want to level up. May be you have so much time but they don't, some people just want to chill after office or before bedtime for like 30-45 minutes for a dungeon or a weekly max. I have some friends they don't have the patience to level even at 7x rates. But if i give them an 80 they will play with me for the fun we had back in time. We are almost everyone who played back then are hitting our late 40s. And, as the OP mentioned, i don't see a problem if someone gives their friend a character to play with them. If i level a character and give someone that character, that is solely my decision because i will have to unbind it myself from the forum account.

Considering current population, and the 3.3.5a patches Age, you have many fancy features like free rating in PvP, but find it so hard to implement or accept such feature is totally disturbing and annoying. And we were playing in this server from 2010-2014 when Roel himself was playing. We just wanted to log casually and have some fun, will help the population too i guess (even if it adds 3 people 4-5 times a week at peak time). OP himself is a Donor, he definitely wants something better for the server.

And trust me, no one will level in 50 people peak server to enjoy the content. We are here just for the love we have for the server. That's it.

So just our 5 storied apartment is served via one router and 5 access points and one single 1Gbps internet connection, we are all same person? I will post and log from different PC in another network and so can everyone else.

We are 4 friends living in the same building, since we moved to the same building a few months back with our wives and children and reunited; it was a plan of the OP to get some time to play together when we can, after work.

We don't have that much urge anyway, it was a plan. We wish for every success of this server. And for account trading, anyone can share their accounts, link, unlink anytime if they wish to sell. It has nothing to do with this specific transfer system implementation. Even when we played back in 2013-2014 many people sold accounts for gold just no one was reported.

And one last thing, we had nothing to gain from this. Just only to play or cherish the memories together when we have time. It is not like people will sell accounts for massive amounts of money, or gain so much personal profit.
