It's simply unbelievable that people are still trying the argument of "Just join BGs if you want to pvp" or "Just flag yourself every time you log in if you want world pvp"... Give me a freaking break, are you serious? That's really your "solution"? If they want a pvp server, they want a pvp server....

Yeah, since renaming my Wow.exe fixed it, it has to be something that's specifically looking for that file name. It's gotta be something like an antivirus or something, but I disabled it and it still happened. Either way, it's resolved now, but still don't know what the issue was. Maybe you're right...

Update:

I seemed to have fixed the issue by renaming Wow.exe. Seems to not matter what I name it, and it runs fine.

Does anyone know a reason why this would be an issue being named Wow.exe? I tried disabling my firewall and antivirus and still got the error.

This doesn't seem like a big deal. I think people know what server they signed up for. Unless I'm misunderstanding.

The server dying would also defeat the purpose of the server.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer PvE. I hate being ganked when I'm trying to quest or something.

I'd also prefer running through the entire vanilla progression.

Maybe another idea would be to not show posts on certain boards, like off-topic and player reports on the home page.

Wasn't a big deal having these on there before, but with the changes, it might help to at least bring some more focus to more important posts.
