Death embrace definitely works. But since that is % dmg modifier you need to recast your DoTs when your target is below 35%, because DoT's keep casters % dmg modifiers from initial cast. Recasting on mobs while leveling is not worth imo since target will die soon anyway, but this talent becomes pote...

Najls, you are very wrong, haste trick is not a retail thing. On retail corruption was keeping crit from all sources, and % damage modifiers from caster from initial cast on every Everlasting Afliction refresh. And it was recalculating SP and haste on each tick. And that is working very well here.
