I had a couple of interesting things happen to my character yesterday and the day before. I wanted to upload those images here but I am uncertain of the best way to do that.

I am unsure about whether that is a bug or not, however I can provide a potential alternative.

Engineers can create a "Practice Lock Box" that requires a lockpicking of 1 to unlock. That could help you out of the bind. (That is if you can find a friendly engie who will make them on the cheap for ya.)
