Yup, something like 50k honor for a weapon or similar.

Sounds good to me. Maybe just AP for current season, no need honor for s2 items. S1 item would be a substitution only for raid gear.

I can see making them 500 arena points plus 20,000 honour points or something along those lines. This way you keep arenas and battlegrounds going. This would also work. But getting almost 3k AP is a bit too much. I was suggesting the honor points, because that's the easiest to get for a new player....
