Rather than having someone tell you how to experience the game, figure it out for yourself. Read the talents and invest in what you want to. If need be read a guide or two, but pointless to play an MMORPG if you have the community tell you how to play...

The correct realm name is listed on server info tab, also make sure you clear the cache after changing realm and before starting

I don't think they will change what we have available since they want to make it as close to vanilla as possible and as we progress open more skills. Does starting the game via .exe compared to the launcher make a difference?

Yes that's the correct one for this server. Is it the generic "you have been disconnected" message? Are you able to login as a character or once you connect it d/c at the character selection screen?

So long as you have that file separate from this file and you clear the cache before changing to another realm list it should work just fine.

Did you download the client from this website? And do you have the retail version of Wow installed as well?

Game worked perfect until an hour ago. After logging in I can take a few steps then my screen turns into a checkerboard and freezes. Other programs work fine so I'm not sure if there is a corrupt file? Can anyone lend a helping hand?
