The only way to play Primal is with a 3.3.5 client, your BC one won't work. Currently the server is stuck in the Vanilla phase and anything past the original pre-BC content is locked meaning you can't play Blood Elves or anything else from TBC.

No. Everything is what it was during Wrath in 3.3.5.

Horde has lower pop BUT for now, we have cross faction options such as RDF, world chat (/join world) and what not so if you like to do PVP/BGs then you are probably going to wanna go Horde.
