I remember playing on such server (vanilla on 2.4.3) a year or two ago and it was pretty good balance- and difficulty-wise. It would indeed be a bit late to ditch the whole client to start over since you guys have worked on fixes so much but I think it would be great idea to make some kind of 2.4.3 ...

I read somewhere Trinity did some changes to the core to prevent botting so that you need to use the auctioneer for version 4.0.1.
Been using it myself for over 6 months and it's working flawless.

I was doing regular mob killing in Western Plaguelands on my shaman when all of a sudden I got teleported deep under the ground and started falling to the nothingness endlessly. I waited nearly a minute but I just kept falling. Restarting WoW or in-game unstucking didn't work but luckily the website...

I was having this same issue. Stealth seems to not do much even if the mob is the same level or very close to the player's level. Mobs are supposed to look at the player when they are close and attack if the player continues to move towards them but the mobs move right to attacking the player even ...

I prefer PvE too to prevent ganking. There are still Battlegrounds where we can always go whenever we feel like doing PvP

From 45mins to 1 hour. Anything up from 1 hour sounds quite alot to me, unless there is tons of slacking in between.
