you can reproduce this by putting pet on stay and use any pet ability (doesnt matter what pet), after that pet just runs through textures until it despawns, unless you call it back. this bug been around for long time already

I don't see what harm could those features bring. PvP in this server is pretty much dead and there's nothing else to do, so I bet many people will support these changes.
